| Fred and Ginger met in 1998. Fred is a veteran world traveler. He and his late wife, Esther Grossberg, had one of the most successful travel agencies in the City of Houston. Most anybody who has been to China in the 70's and 80's did so with Esther Grossberg Travel. It was Fred's love of traveling that encouraged Esther to get in the travel industry and it became so successful that Fred gave up his successful maritime law practice to join Esther in 1977. In 1989 Fred sold the agency to VIP SuperTravel after the death of his much loved wife of 45 years. He continued working for SuperTravel and Navigant on a part time basis for several years until 1999 when he retired.
In 1998 he met Virginia (Ginger) on the dance floor . . . . and they soon became an item and the moniker of "Fred and Ginger" stuck. As a meeting planner and event coordinator, Virginia's expertise in organizing is well known in her world. Fred and Ginger have traveled extensively since they met and they enjoy nothing better than a good dance floor, good dance music, fine dining and most of all great friends! In 2003 Virginia decided to get in the travel industry. She is an accredited travel consultant and has planned and implemented five to seven GROUPS a year and hundreds of individual travel arrangements.
Ginger's motto is that she is now "Working at Living, rather than Living to Work".
